I’ve made changes to the poisoned puffer by incorporating it into the solo deck, with a solo back. I’m hoping this will make it a more desirable option if it’s already in your hand! As for the personal touch, I feel like that’s still retained by including a hand painted turn stone. Please bear with me while I update all the things on the website!
I’ve also decided to separate the whale deck as an expansion pack because I think that will lend itself to a more dynamic name for marketing, although it means I’ll need to create more original cards for the pack. I’ve got some ideas!

To build up a fanbase I’ll be looking for people who are up for doing a review of See Creatures – I’m still working off my limited income and so I’ll be ordering a travel version of the game and sorting a box, pen, and dice to give a full (if mini!) experience. I have been following some game reviewers on IG, headhunting potential content creators who might be interested in a free set! Because of my limited finances I’ll only be able to offer this to one or two people, but I’m hoping it’ll give the game a good boost forward. Included in the box will be a QR code that takes people to the website where full instructions can be read or listened to, to save paper and space in the box!

So Having seen the Kickstarter to the campaign to the end I’m disappointed, (but not surprised) that it hasn’t been saucerful first time around. It’s pushed the game to the next level which I’m really happy about, and I’ve decided to make some (minor) changes to the cards and the deck components, as well as marketing graphics. I’m thinking that in the next campaign Hidden Surprise will be included for backers but not part of the base decks, instead I’ve decided it’s a better fit for one of the expansion packs I’ve been developing alongside the base game: “Xtra Queer fish” and “Horrorfishing”. Xtra Queer Fish will be composed of sea creatures with a particularly strong parallel to LGBTQ+ life and will come in pride flag colours, Horrorfishing will be a collection of deeply disturbing sea life dragged from the depths of the trenches and splayed across the table for your entertainment (if you’re into horror!). The card I’ve selected from the Horrorfishing deck is: “Frankenfisher” – a card that allows you to combine any top and bottom à la Rocky Horror! I have also decided to make some changes to the Poisoned Puffer and turned it into a solo card to spice up the deck.
